"Good Time" is a song by American socialite Paris Hilton featuring American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released through Cash Money and Republic Records on October 8, 2013, intended to be the lead single from Hilton's shelved second studio album.[1] The song peaked at number 18 on Billboard's US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, making it Hilton's first Billboard chart appearance in nearly seven years.[2] A trap remix was created by DJ and EDM artist Caroline D'Amore, who is also a close friend of Hilton.[3]
Background[]
In 2012, Afrojack reported to Billboard about producing for Hilton, "She likes pop as well—what's on the radio—but she also loves dance music. She's been going out to raves for 15 years she told me—ever since she was a little kid—and she loves dance music so I gave her some dance tracks.[4] On May 22, 2013, Hilton announced of signing with Cash Money Records.[5] On October 2, 2013, Hilton posted a snippet of the track.[6]
In a 2013 interview with Skee 24/7's D'Amore, Hilton revealed that when she heard the beat from Afrojack, she thought Wanye would be perfect on the track. The two had previously linked up through Interview magazine, where the idea of a collab was first pitched.[7] In a statement to Rolling Stone, she said, "For me this song is so catchy and fun the way it moves from pop to a true dance number."[8]
Music video[]
The music video was directed by Hannah Lux Davis and released on October 8, 2013, with visual effects created by GloriaFX. It was filmed in a mansion in Hollywood Hills and featured the Kryoman robot. The video finds Hilton beguiling a pool party and cooing suggestively over a juiced-up dance beat. In the clip, Hilton rolls around poolside, fist-pumps some glowsticks and poses luxuriously. Wayne is located at a staircase with Birdman in the background, and raps lines like, 'I walked up to a big butt/And asked her ass, 'But what?'" Hilton wears a swimsuit studded with Swarovski crystals, custom designed by Jean Paul Gautier.[9] The video premiered on Rolling Stone's website on October 7, 2013.

Lyrics[]
[Chorus 1: Paris Hilton]
Are you having a good time?
'Cause I'm having a good time
And I might be a bit tipsy
But that's okay 'cause you're with me
Are you having a good time?
'Cause I'm having a good time
And I might be a bit tipsy
But that's okay 'cause you're with me
[Pre-Chorus: Paris Hilton]
I came here just to party
Oh please, don't you hate on me, yeah
Got my sexy girls with me
Oh, I love it
[Chorus 2: Paris Hilton]
Whoa-oh, let's party
Yeah, let's party, and have a good time
Whoa-oh, let's party
Yeah, let's party, and have a good time
[Verse 1: Paris Hilton]
There go the paparazzi
I really don't give a fuck
Move out of my way
'Cause I came to party rock
Good times are here
And you know they're here to stay
If you're not here to party
Move and get out of my way
[Chorus 2: Paris Hilton]
Whoa-oh, let's party
Yeah, let's party, and have a good time
Whoa-oh, let's party
Yeah, let's party, and have a good time
[Chorus 1: Paris Hilton]
Are you having a good time?
'Cause I'm having a good time
And I might be a bit tipsy
But that's okay 'cause you're with me
[Verse 2: Lil Wayne]
I'm fucked up, I can't tell you what's what
All she know is suck fuck
I walked up to a big butt, and ask her ass "Butt What?"
Tunechi never slacks without a button up
I rolled the dice and lucked up
I'm all in, I'm all in
More money more problems
More money will solve them
It's YMCMB bitch
Paris, do you speak french? I get special treatment
Girl, turn over, good defense! We turned down for what
Tomorrow isn't promised
Tonight is all we got
And times like these are timeless
She fucked me like she love me
Love is such a science, do you think it's love?
Thanks for not replying
It's Paris Hilton, bitch!
[Bridge: Paris Hilton]
Lick it, lock it, it's the last day to party
Don't just, don't stop moving
Cause we're having a good time, having a good time
[Chorus 1: Paris Hilton]
Are you having a good time?
'Cause I'm having a good time
And I might be a bit tipsy
But that's okay 'cause you're with me
