Infinite Icon is the upcoming second studio album by American media personality Paris Hilton, set for release on September 6, 2024, through 11:11 Media. It features guest appearances from Sia, Rina Sawayama, Meghan Trainor, and Maria Becerra, with the former also serving as executive producer. The album was supported by the two singles, "I'm Free" (featuring Sawayama) and "Chasin'" (featuring Trainor), and marks her first studio album in 14 years following the release of her eponymous debut album, Paris (2006).
Background[]
With her first album being released in August 2006, Hilton took a hiatus from the music scene. In May 2013, it was announced of her signing to Cash Money Records, where she expressed interest in recording a second album under the label. After the release of several standalone singles, she chose to part ways, and has dabbled in DJ-ing.[1] In a 2017 interview with Time, she shared how her new album will venture into a different sound, that will contain "deep house, techno-pop and electro-pop".[2]
In October 2023, Hilton appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she announced of working on a new album and it being produced entirely by Sia.[3] On May 30, 2024, she announced the album's release date, sharing nine photos that revealed the following: "Infinite Icon, Paris Hilton, drops 6/9".[4] On June 21, 2024, she released the record's lead single, "I'm Free," featuring Rina Sawayama. On July 26, 2024, she released the second single "Chasin'" featuring Meghan Trainor, alongside the unveiling of Infinite Icon's official cover artwork. While both singles failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, the former peaked at number 16 on Billboard Japan's Hot Overseas.
